Blazej Lojewski, MD
Prior to joining Midwest Vein Center in 2017, Dr. Lojewski had been treating vein disease in his private practice of Family Medicine since 2001. He is now engaged in the full-time practice of Phlebology (vein care) after completing fellowship training at the Midwest Vein Centers in Niles, Downers Grove, Glenview, Orland Park and Chicago.
While working at Loyola University Medical Center, Dr. Lojewski co-authored several scientific papers which were published in peer-reviewed medical journals, and presented at multiple medical meetings on topics including hemostasis and thrombosis. He also assisted in introducing the first Low Molecular Weight Heparin to American patients as a member of a research team headed by Dr. Jawed Fareed.
In his free time, Dr. Lojewski enjoys spending time with his friends and family, painting, and listening to baroque music.
