Dr. J. Gordon Wright is actively involved in helping to develop breakthrough technologies that continue to make healthcare safer, less invasive and more effective. Membership and leadership roles in a large number of professional associations keeps Dr. Wright in touch with his colleagues and helps to keep him up to date on the latest medical advancements. Dr. Wright is a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and the National Board of Surgery. He's a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Phlebology. Recently, the American College of Phlebology elected Dr. Wright be the Chairman of the College's AACME Committee and the College's Preceptorship Committee. Dr. Wright has been a valued participant in dozens of FDA approved clinical trials and is published in all areas of vascular disorders.

Dr. Wright is the Founder and Medical Director of the Midwest Vein Center and practices out of the Downers Grove office. His special area of Expertise in Phlebology is in the treatment of venous stasis ulcers and combined arterial and venous problems.


Dr. Wright and his wife keep busy with their three active teenagers and black Labrador Retriever named Lucky.
